What is Slopa?

Slopa is a 3D online RPG that runs entirely in your browser. There is no download, no launcher and no patcher: open the page, pick your character, and you are standing in the world moments later. The same client runs on desktop and on phones, and it can be added to your home screen to play fullscreen like a native app.

An endless open world

The world has no edges. Terrain, forests, grass and water are generated around you as you walk, out to the horizon and well past it, under a full day and night cycle with a physically modelled sky, drifting clouds, stars and real-time shadows. Wander far enough and you will come across procedural villages: houses, roads, wells, market stalls, windmills and docks, with villagers strolling between them.

Fight, loot, gear up

Skeletons guard the crypt yards scattered across the land. Fight them with a growing set of skills, from magic missiles and chain lightning to a laser shot, a ground slam and your bare fists. Kills drop gold and gear, and every dropped item is a unique instance carrying its own rarity grade, so no two finds are quite the same. Equip what you pull off a corpse and every other player sees you wearing it.

Go underground

Every crypt is a door. Step through and the open world gives way to a fog-bound dungeon maze, with an exit portal that puts you back exactly where you went in. Bring your gold down there at your own risk: death empties your purse onto the ground, gold beam and all, for whoever reaches it first.

Bank, buy and sell

The village Banker keeps 64 storage slots and a separate gold purse for you, free and permanent, and it is the one place your things survive death. The village Merchant runs a live counter stocked by everyone on the server: what other players sell, you can buy, and the stock drifts back toward its natural mix over time.

One world, everybody in it

Slopa is online. Other players walk the same terrain, fight the same skeletons and see them at the same health, arbitrated by the server so nobody is fighting a different monster than you are. Your character, inventory, bank and equipment live on the server and follow you to whatever device you sign in from.

Controls

Click or tap where you want to go, or steer with WASD on a keyboard, or with the on-screen joystick on a phone. Skills sit on a popup row, with your main one on the spacebar.

How to start playing

Create an account, or sign in if you already have one, and the game loads straight in the browser tab. On a phone or tablet, add Slopa to your home screen to play fullscreen with no browser bars in the way.

What you need

A recent browser with WebGPU support and a device that can drive it: Chrome or Edge on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android, or Safari on an up-to-date Mac, iPhone or iPad. Nothing to install, no plugins, no client patcher.

Built to run fast

Slopa is written in C and compiled to WebAssembly, so on a modern phone or desktop it runs at a high, steady frame rate instead of the stutter browser 3D is known for. On older hardware it measures itself and turns graphics settings down on its own, quietly, so the game keeps moving rather than crawling. The result is a browser RPG that feels much smoother than the competition.
